UPWARD BASKETBALL: TEAM MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES
The purpose of Upward Basketball is to create opportunities for ministry touchpoints: showing the love of God to students, coaches, parents by filling a need, cultivating relationships, and offering devotional moments woven into halftime and practices.
Volunteer positions are not limited to the positions below; having a team will keep us organized. It will also keep us encouraged as we grow the program together and celebrate the life-chaning victories we see on and off the court.
The goal is to host a 7 or 10 week series for K5-2nd grade, co-ed. The league would begin in April, end in June. Registration would end mid-March.
If you have never played basketball or worked as a volunteer with a sport, this is the perfect age group to start.
Ideally practices would be Tues/Thurs (once a week for each grade) and game days on Saturday.
